Why the Feather?

I am a re-organizer. I don't know if that's an official "thing" but I like to reorganize my house. All the time. I clean under the couch and think "that would look better on this wall" and then my husband comes home to a clean and brand new house! I used to do it with my preschool classroom. The parents would joke about it because once a month, I would be moving something important! I am the same way with my photography. It's almost like a reinvention. I have a different logo every year. Why? Because I'm never satisfied with the one I have and always want to evolve.

I finally found "the one"! So why the feather?...

Here's my "why"...

I am a believer in Jesus Christ. I have been since middle school. My path has not always been the smoothest, nor have I always followed the right path but It's brought me to where I am today. I've made many mistakes along the way but they have always helped me to grow and mature as a person. One verse that has always gotten me through the hard times is Isaiah 40:31 "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not grow faint." I knew I wanted to incorporate my faith into my business. It's a big part of me. I chatted with a fellow believer that is also a photographer about my logo and she suggested feathers {as a representation of eagle wings} and I fell in love with this logo. It means so much to me to have likeminded business friends to chat with and bounce ideas off of! Thanks B!!
