Wildflowers

My beautiful friend knew I was looking for wildflowers and told me about this field! Of course we had to photograph her two little girls there. They are always fun to photograph. Little Sis was a little shy but I LOVE her serious face! This momma has always been a big blessing in my life. She's been a friend, mentor, and the most positive and encouraging woman I know. She's always believed in me AND my boys and I am forever grateful for her!

I am so thankful I have two boys. I really am. But I've always feel blessed to have the relationship I have with my mom and grandmother. They are the most incredible women in my life! A part of me has always longed to have girls so I can have that relationship as well.

I love photographing moms with their girls because although they are little, daughters are a moms future friends. Daughters call their moms when they are sick or sad, when they need advice, when they need to vent about their husbands, when the baby cries all night and they think they are the worst mom in the whole world (am I right ladies?!) or just to talk! I can already see how much these two girls look up to their momma. (and they should...she's pretty awesome!)
