Kristin's Story

"On March 22, 2012 we lost twin girls, MacKenzie and Sydney at 20 weeks on an unusually warm and clear night, where every constellation was visible. On January 24, 2015 I miscarried a 6 week old baby during a snow storm that chilled every bone of my body. For the longest time we waited for a sign that we had survived the storm, the heartbreak, the loss.

On July 9, 2015 a little girl was born. It wasn't until July 10th we received a phone call that we had been chosen by her Birthparents to adopt her. Then on July 11th, our rainbow appeared, Madelyn Emma Lord. We had weathered every storm possible, but through it all we had survived. We had learned the true lesson of never giving up hope that one day, your dreams will come true."
