Steph's Story

This lady is the reason I started the "Grace Session", so it is fitting to start with her story. We were scheduled for a newborn session last year and I received a heartbreaking email around her 20 week mark when she lost her baby girl, Grace.

Her Story...

"My story isn’t finished yet. Though it feels like it’s been forever since starting this journey, there is hope. I believe in miracles. Over the past 3 years we’ve experienced 3 miscarriages and a 20 week still birth of our baby girl, Grace. Miscarriage and stillbirth is isolating. It’s terrifying and heartbreaking. It shatters all faith and belief. I hope we can come together and support each other so that no one has to travel these paths feeling alone.

As for me, my husband is my number one supporter and the one who gives me hope, when I have lost it all. We are parents, grieving parents, who will hold on to each other a little tighter. I am forever grateful for our relationship and for all I do have in my life.

I’m so thankful for those around me who continue to provide hugs, messages, and support. We will not give up on our dream of having our family."
